REGULATIONS
of the International competition-festival
“Narva Spring”27-28.04.13
The international Competition-festival “Narva Spring” takes place in the city of Tallinn, Estonia,
regularly every year at the end of April.
Aims:
1. Integration of various national cultures, both at state and international level.
2. Preservations of national cultures of our ancestors.
3. Development of international dialogue.
4. Search of gifted and perspective performers.
5. Access to pedagogical traditions and modern techniques of different countries and regions.
6. Possibilities of creative self-expression and professional perfection.
for musicians, singers and dancers in two age groups.
Competition-festival is held in three nominations
age group "A" - till 18 years old, duration of the programme is 10 minutes
age group "B" - Over 18 years without restriction of age, duration of the programme is 15 minutes
Competition is spent in the form of the big mixed concert 27+28.04.13 in Tallinn of a recreation center "Lindakivi" (Tallinn, Koorti 22) on three nominations: instrumental music, a vocal, dances
I. In a nomination - " Instrumental music " - Execution on any Musical instruments:
1. Soloists
2. Ensembles and Orchestras – chamber, small symphonic, wind, from national tools of the academic direction, other homogeneous or mixed formations
But Participants in the genre of "Vocal" and "Instrumental solo performance," participate in the following age categories: Category "A" from 6 to 12 years, max. to 8 min.
Category "B" from 12 to 18 years, max. to 10 min.
category "C" from 18 to 24 years, max. to 13 min.
category «D» from 24 to 30 years, max. to 15 min.
Category "E" 30 no age limit, max. to 20 min.
Participants choose any kind of a nomination.
II. In a nomination "vocal":
1. Variety singing including folklore, romances, smash hits, etc.
Participants act under a minus soundtrack (CD).
In the given type of a nomination "Vocal" soloists and variety ensembles, as well as Choruses (homogeneous and mixed)
2. « the Vocal – the academic singing » can act: Vocalists should include in the program one aria of any composer, other program free.
3. Ensembles classical singing – chamber and opera ensembles (up to a quartet inclusive)
Participants choose any kind of a nomination Accompaniment – without age restrictions.
III. In a nomination "dances":
1. Folklore dances.
2. Ball dances
3. Variety dances
Participants choose any kind of a nomination
Performing is possible solo as well as in ensemble of any structure, including vocal with
the national musical instrument. Performing to a minus soundtrack (CD) is authorized.
In the program it is desirable to use original folklore products.
Competition is held in two rounds in the form of the big mixed concert.
Excess of specified time of execution isn't supposed. At infringement – the jury removes a point from the
general estimation of the participant.
Contestants can register in one or more nomination. Entrance fee is 50 euros for each participant.
Entrance fee for groups is 100 euros not dependent on the number of participants.
Entrance fee is paid on the arrival.
The Jury consists of well-known teachers – musicians, heads of dancing and vocal collectives from different countries. The jury decision definitive and not a subject to appeal.
The contestants who have received an estimation not less 95/100 become winners of I degree.
The contestants who have received an estimation not less 90/100 become winners of II degree.
The contestants who have received an estimation not less 85/100 become winners of III degree.
Received an estimation not less than 80/100, become students of competition.
The highest award of the competition is Grand Prix.

It is also possible to food at will is given to participants during competition, is paid which by participants to organizers for arrival.
Cost of transportation is paid by participants and accompanying persons.
